The Shared Services Organization HR Team supports client units with the following student employment services:

Student Staffing:

  • Assisting with Pre-Employment Requirements
    • Background Checks
    • Pre-Placement Physicals (if required)
    • On boarding
    • Hire Events
    • One on One Appointments

Student Employment Actions:

  • Additional Appointments
  • Promotions 
  • Reclassifications
  • Posting Student Positions
  • DMV Pull Notice

The following Student Employment Actions are provided by our Payroll Unit:

  • Extension of Existing Appointments
  • Longevity Increases
  • Special Recognition Increases

Submit a Student Recruitment for Processing:

  1. Navigate to the AggieService Community Portal
  2. Choose the Human Resources topic
  3. Choose the Recruitment/Position Management request
  4. Select Recruitment and then choose the Student option
  5. For single student recruitment, fill out page as usual
  6. For multiple student hires:

    A) We now have an automated process that will save you time and effort!

    B) Select Multiple Students / Positions  o Yes

    C) Click on link to download .csv file.  (Help text on form)  Fill out as appropriate and upload into form.  See images:

  • Unresponsive student(s) and/or unavailable documentation to complete the Federal I-9
