Blindness/Low Vision
Disability Management Services assists managers/supervisors and blind/low vision applicants and employees in the interactive process to explore and implement effective accommodations.
Joshua Hori, UC Davis Assistive Technology Specialist (jhori@ucdavis.edu), can help with identifying blindness/low vision technology accommodations. Join Joshua Hori on the first Tuesday of every month from 12:00-01:00 PM for 'Tech Tuesdays'. This is a drop-in style Zoom session where Campus and Health employees can ask questions or seek guidance on assistive technology.

As a manager/supervisor, if a blind/low vision employee or applicant for employment is requesting an accommodation, please ask them what they need and reach out to Disability Management Services for assistance. Joshua Hori and Disability Management Services are available for consultation and guidance but managers/supervisors are responsible for providing the necessary accommodations.
