UC Davis Campus
Local public schools fall under the jurisdiction of the Davis Joint Unified School District. There are eight elementary schools located throughout the community serving kindergarten to sixth grade children.
Children are usually enrolled in their neighborhood school, unless the family chooses the Spanish Immersion Program located at the Monarca Elementary School (formerly Cesar Chavez Elementary) and Marguerite Montgomery Elementary. The Fairfield School offers a two-room country school for kindergarten through third grade students, and a Montessori program is available at Birch Lane Elementary. Children can be registered at neighborhood schools after showing proof of residency, a physician's report of a physical examination, and proof of required immunization.
The Davis Joint Unified School District can provide further information on enrollment Pupil Services, 530-757-5300.
