Prevention Through Training

Training and education is an important part of prevention. Training helps to promote awareness around issues related to workplace violence and prevention strategies to minimize workplace violence. 

Two ways to engage in prevention through training:

1. Complete the new UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace course by the deadline, July 17th, 2023. This course is required for all staff and academic employees. 
2. Sign up for an in-person or online training offered by the Workplace Violence Prevention. Topics include: Mental Health First Aid, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Conflict Conversations.
