The Second Annual HR Symposium was Held on September 18

This year's Symposium focused on critical touch-points in the employee life cycle - managing performance, encouraging development, fostering worklife, creating a respectful workplace - all with the goal of retaining our One-of-a-Kind employees.

UC Davis employs 20,000+ people, each of whom will have unique experiences throughout their careers. Supervisors have countless opportunities to shape those employee experiences - from interviewing and onboarding, and on through retirement.

Over the course of a career, interactions with colleagues, students, patients and others will also impact the employee, affecting their engagement, productivity, well-being, sense of belonging, and career development.
