Executive Programs and Recruitment

The Executive Programs and Recruitment unit oversees and manages all executive programs for UC Davis and UC Davis Health, including executive compensation as well as executive leadership recruitments.

Our team manages the recruitment process for all Senior Management Group (SMG) and Senior Academic Leadership positions through collaboration with the Office of the Chancellor and Provost to ensure UC Davis attracts and retains top talent for executive level positions such as vice chancellors, deans, vice provosts, and senior level executives at our health system. In addition to recruitment, our unit oversees a wide range of other executive programs, such as AREC (Annual Report on Executive Compensation) and OPA (Outside Professional Activities). Our team plays a critical role ensuring policy compliance, offering guidance on complex employment matters, and providing general operational assistance that ensures UC Davis processes align with directives and policies of the University of California Regents and the Office of the President. Our goal is to ensure that all executive programs and recruitment processes are conducted with the utmost integrity, transparency, and efficiency, aligning with the UC Davis mission, principles of community, and strategic priorities.
