The next "You Betta' Work" LGBTQIA+ Career Fair will take place on Thursday, September 12th. The plan is to create an inviting ambiance, where our diverse community feels uplifted, and employers, schools and nonprofits are truly LGBTQIA+ affirming and engaging!
Community Empowerment, Social Change and Economic Justice: The upcoming presidential elections are providing a platform for a lot of politicians, media outlets, influencers, and jaded individuals to voice disparaging remarks about our LGBTQIA+ community, as well as exacerbate racial tension, anti-immigrant sentiments, and exclusionary practices, that prevent us from asserting our identities, accessing sustainable careers, and thriving in a city with numerous employment opportunities, across different sectors. Let’s prove them wrong and gather, to advocate for our resplendent communities!
