Melissa joined the UC Davis Health Workplace Violence Prevention team in February 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Channel Islands. Melissa brings nearly 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, and her passion for helping others has been key to her success and deep appreciation for this line of work.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling with her family and supporting her young son at his sporting events.
