Do you have a faculty member who is wondering if she can consult with the State of California and get paid for it? Do you have a professor who is the spouse of another member of your department? Are there any rules that pertain to them? What happens when a professor retires? If these irregular issues arise on occasion in your current position, then this course will help you to learn where to look for information, policies and resources regarding them as well as for recalls to active duty, endowed chairs, awards, honors, and intergovernmental personnel act agreements.
