Shaikha joined the campus ELR team in September 2022 as the Legal Fellow. In her current role as a Labor Relations Consultant, Shaikha’s work includes contract interpretation, grievance handling, and facilitating communication between departments and unions. Prior to joining campus ELR, Shaikha externed for the Honorable Louis R. Mauro of the California 3rd District Court of Appeal during law school. Shaikha obtained a B.A. in International Relations from UC Davis and J.D. from UC Davis School of Law (Go Double Aggies!). Outside of work, Shaikha enjoys reading, shopping, and traveling. Having grown up in Penang, Malaysia, Shaikha speaks multiple languages and is always excited to learn new ones.
