Most of HR at Health will be relocating to the Health Administrative Services (HAS) Building in Rancho Cordova in 2023.
HAS was built to centralize major UCDH administrative departments, including: Purchasing, Revenue, HR, Financial & Accounting Services, Government Reimbursement, and IT. There will be approximately 1,215 employees that will reside in HAS.
Working Toward Answers
This is a complex move and we have some top-priority areas where we need decisions from the project managers:
- We expect all HR teams to be relocated in 2023, though ELR, ASAP, HRBPs need to have some assigned workspace, in addition to that at HAS, on/near the Sacramento campus to respond to time-sensitive incidents, in-person counseling sessions, sensitive personnel matters as well as meetings with unions required by law or labor contracts. We're awaiting a decision and will share it as soon as we can.
- We will have hotel space near the Sacramento campus for HR staff to meet with and provide customer service close to customers, and are getting clarification about the details. The Cannery remains an option, but the Broadway Building is no longer being considered.
