Temporary Employment Services (TES) provides UC Davis and UC Davis Health with temporary prescreened employees to fill department needs and who are best prepared to meet your staffing needs.
We place individuals with clerical, administrative, service-orientated, and other specialized skills at the UC Davis Campus and UC Davis Health that need temporary staff support. The available assignments can be full-time, part-time and short-term or long-term in duration.
When requesting a temporary employee through TES, departments are to complete the TES Request Form and submit for the following:
TES will review the request and contact the Department if additional information is needed. TES will assign a temporary employee and provide the department with placement information.
On July 1, 2015, UC Davis effectively employed new TES guidelines that includes:
TES markup rate: 7%
Departments will continue to be charged for actual salary costs, composite benefit rates, and for vacation and sick leave accruals
TES will continue to cover the costs associated with background check fees, and vacation and sick leave usage
