We are excited to share that starting in January 2027, Campus New Employee Welcome (CNEW) is going monthly. This new format allows employees to participate closer to their start date and receive timely benefits information, helping them feel connected, informed and supported early in their new role.
Sessions will feature an executive speaker and include presentations from Inclusive Excellence, Benefits, Retirement, Employee Well-Being, Transportation Services, and Learning & Organizational Development. By connecting new employees with essential resources and campus partners early, CNEW helps lay the foundation for a successful and rewarding UC Davis journey.
As a manager, you help make this connection possible. Please encourage your new campus employees to attend.
Offering these sessions more often is one change we’re making to improve the hiring experience across UC Davis and take action on employee feedback from the 2025 Employee Experience Survey.
