What We Do:
Workforce Planning is a piloted program among various UC Davis divisions to assist the long-term planning of operational needs, such as recruiting, learning and development, and succession management.
Human Resource Information Systems
HRIS offers production support and administration of systems, such as PeopleAdmin and PeopleSoft, to departments on the Davis campus and UC Davis Health. The team also assists HR web services, training and consulting.
Data-driven Decision Making
Provides personnel data to University offices and departments. Also, supports areas within Human Resources, such as Talent Acquisition (Recruitment), Compensation Services, Talent Management, through organization and employee data (data when/where people need it). Increasingly using Tableau for data visualization.
Oversees the review and administration of UC Davis policies and procedures concerning staff personnel subjects, such as the local UC Davis procedures to the UC systemwide Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM).
Facilities Management provides internal operational support to HR units in Davis and Sacramento.
