Mandatory Training
UC Learning Center
New employees must also complete the following online mandated training within the first 30 days of employment. These trainings will be assigned to the employee in their UC Learning Center account.
- UC Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education (SHAPE) Training
- UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace
- UC General Compliance Training
- UC Cyber Security Awareness
- Ergonomics Essentials for Computer Users
- UC Workplace Violence Prevention

All new Supervisors and Managers will need to complete the following within 18 months of employment. The series will be assigned to the employee in their UC Learning Center account.
Become a Welcome Ambassador for New Employees
Help roll out the Aggie welcome mat! We're seeking enthusiastic UC Davis employees to serve as volunteer ambassadors at our events. As an ambassador, you'll greet newcomers, share your experience, and foster a warm, inclusive environment that reflects our Principles of Community. It’s a fun and meaningful way to build connections and showcase how UC Davis continues to earn recognition as the best place to work.
