Labor Relations

Labor Relations handles grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges and complaints to state agencies. We also conduct employment investigations, provide required notices to the unions, publish bulletins on timely topics, draft settlement agreements, collective bargaining, access, strike coordination, and interpretation and implementation of complex labor contract language.

Our office also responds to union requests for information, provide training on working in a unionized environment, respond to labor demonstrations and strikes, facilitate positive and collaborative labor/management relationships, notify the campus community about changes in state and federal labor law, act as liaison with the Office of the President on systemwide labor/management issues, including systemwide collective bargaining agreements.
