Layoff Information: Managers & Supervisors
The University of California, Davis is committed to creating a supportive environment for each employee and administering all policies fairly and equitably. It is the policy of the University to minimize layoffs by considering staffing reductions only after other creative solutions have been reviewed.
Departments should refer to the specific union contracts (collective bargaining agreements) and personnel policy for information about the process and requirements with regard to notice, severance, preferential rehire and recall.
