Laura Young is the Senior Academic Advisor for graduate programs in the Medical & Biological Sciences.  She provides advice and guidance on university policies and procedures, degree milestones, admissions and graduation requirements, issues with mentorship, and academic success.  She has been at UC Davis since 2010 and prior to her current position, she served as the Graduate Program Coordinator for Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.  Before UC Davis, Laura served as an advisor and graduation coordinator for undergraduates in the College of Sciences at the University of Central Florida.  She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UCF, specializing in Psychology and Communication.
