Application Requirements
Applicants must have completed at least one year of service at UC (past probation, career status) as of the application deadline. Supervisor support is essential to the success of the UC Management Skills Assessment Program (MSAP); they will be asked to complete the application with their supporting statements.
The highest priority will be given to individuals with:
- Demonstrated management career path (through education and/or experience)
- One to five years of experience supervising or managing people or projects
- One to five years in current job
- Title and Pay Plan: “__” Assistant III Supervisor, equivalent, or above

Program Cost
Human Resources will cover the cost ($1,900) for program materials and room and board -arrival Monday afternoon and departure Thursday afternoon. Your department should cover transportation and/or other related travel costs.
Program Logistics
This integrated MSAP program will include participants from the entire UC system at UCLA's Lake Arrowhead Lodge.

Assessor Requirements
Assessors receive a 2-day in-person training before the program and additional training on-site to prepare them for their role. If you are interested in serving as an Assessor, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Campus Coordinator.
Training sessions are held twice per year. The fall session is typically held at UC Davis.
