Advising for Global Impact: Helping Your Students Become Globally Engaged is a learning opportunity for staff across the UC Davis campus to develop their awareness, knowledge, and skills in understanding the role global learning plays in students’ academic, personal, and professional development.
Course Description
Global learning is not just about learning about other cultures. In the more comprehensive approach we use at UC Davis, global learning is about building awareness; exploring diversity in language, culture, and identity around the world; and taking action to face challenges in one’s own community. This three-and-a-half-hour course will help you focus on your own development within global learning as a UC Davis employee and will help you bolster your support for students’ global learning while they are at UC Davis.
