This course is designed for those new to human subject research at UC Davis.
Course Description
The function of the IRB is to protect the rights and welfare of research participants and to ensure that UC Davis researchers adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all applicable regulations. The content in this course includes an introduction to our electronic submission system, IRBNet, a description of the types of projects which require IRB review, an overview of the IRB review process, and an outline of IRB submission types and required documents. Attendees will learn guidelines for successful submissions to the IRB.
