Scott Sylva is a benefits supervisor at the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) which provides counseling and support for all UCRP members, active, inactive, retirees and their survivors. Scott has worked at UC for 13 years. He started as a customer service representative and moved on to the UCRP Disability Unit where he worked for six years reviewing and managing long term disability cases. In 2011, he transitioned into a benefit analyst position, proving retirement counseling for active UCRP member as well as benefits counseling for all UCOP employees. Prior to working at UC, he worked with CalPERS for two years in customer service. Scott moved back to Sacramento in May 2015 and commutes to Oakland on the Capital Corridor Amtrak.
