Binnie Singh, Ed.D., serves as the Assistant Vice Provost, in the Office of the Vice Provost, Academic Affairs. In this role, she serves as the primary liaison between Academic Affairs and other units and organizations, both on campus and systemwide, and assists the Vice Provost – Academic Affairs by serving as Chief of Staff and supporting key initiatives. In this role, she also leads strategic planning, implementation and innovation for matters affecting academic personnel at UC Davis. Prior, she served for over 10 years as the Director of Faculty Relations and Development in Academic Affairs consulting with campus leaders on resolving conflicts that involve academic employees and creating and coordinating academic development programs. Before UC Davis, Binnie worked for the City and County of San Francisco for 12 years. She has over 30 years of experience in a large breadth of human resource and leadership areas, including organizational development, strategic planning, equal employment opportunity, recruitment and retention, personnel selection, labor relations and training/development.
