Mastering Dialogue is a course that teaches skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering opening dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics – at all levels of the organization.
Course Description:
By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you’ll surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment. Content is based on the book Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High, by Kerry Patterson and Joseph Grenny.
Participants with be provided with the practical tools to:
- Speak persuasively, not abrasively
- Foster teamwork and better decision-making
- Build acceptance rather than resistance
- Resolve individual and group disagreements respectfully
Please note that this course is for supervisors and managers only. It is a two part/two day course and participants must attend both classes to get credit.
