This workshop provides impactful learning in what it takes to manage projects successfully at UC Davis Health.
Course Description
Instruction is focused on application of the Project Process Architecture (PPA)™, a tested, proven, and repeatable process for managing projects from concept to successful delivery which has been implemented in numerous UC Davis Health organizations. The hallmark of this workshop is its practical, hands-on instruction. The workshop is highly interactive, offering classroom exercises for each major topic featuring UC Davis Health projects that you can nominate! Work is guided by a series of templates that are used in the classroom and you receive a robust Excel-based toolkit which supports implementation and use of the PPA™ in the workplace.
The “take-away” content of this workshop is high. You will not only understand the principles and practices that make for successful projects, you will learn how to lead a project team and negotiate project constraints with your leadership. You will be well-positioned to immediately apply the learnings to your projects!
Please note: This is a three-part course and all three sessions must be taken to receive credit for course completion.
