Partner Opportunities Program (POP)

Under direction of the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs, the UC Davis Partner Opportunities Program (POP), is a service designed to support departments and dean’s offices in the recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty by assisting their partners and spouses in seeking employment at UC Davis. Eligibility is limited to prospective or current full-time Academic Senate Ladder Rank faculty (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor), Lecturers with Potential Security of Employment, Cooperative Extension Specialists, Deans, Faculty Administrators and members of the Senior Management Group.

The Partner Opportunities Program can assist a partner/spouse who is seeking UC Davis employment by offering the following services:

  • Provide resource links to employment postings
  • Explore career goals and offer referral to campus career counseling
  • Access to campus training and workshops
  • Arrange informational interviews
  • Promote POP candidates who have applied for specific campus positions

It is important to note that POP cannot guarantee job placement or the successful resolution of employment issues.
